How to Sell Your Dresses

How do I sell my dresses? What do I need to do?
If you are a retailer or designer and are interested in working with Glamour Closet, please contact our Glamour Closet buyer either via email glamourcloset@glamourcloset.com or call us at (415) 391-1515.

Types of Dresses Glamour Closet Accepts

Will you take any dress, no matter how old it is? What items will you accept from me?
Glamour Closet strives to offer quality merchandise to their buyers therefore the dresses we would like to receive must meet certain criteria.

At the current time, Glamour Closet is focused on selling new wedding gowns, which includes showroom floor samples, runway samples and overstock wedding gowns. If you are a retailer or designer interested in selling these types of dresses, please contact glamourcloset@glamourcloset.com in advance to determine if we can help you.

If you still have questions about the types of dresses we will accept, please email us at glamourcloset@glamourcloset.com

Will you accept accessories such as shoes, jewelry, veils, handbags, etc.?
At this point Glamour Closet will only accept wedding gowns.

Why would Glamour Closet not accept my dresses? Then, what happens to the dresses I sent in?
We don't want to turn anyone away, but we want to make sure that the dress we sell can be worn again at any upcoming wedding. We may not sell your dress based on the condition, quality and merchantability of the dress. The item must adhere to the criteria listed above in the section titled "Will you take any dress, no matter how old it is?" Many things may affect the merchantability of the dress such as out-of-date style, damage to the dress, tears, holes, stains, etc.

If you prefer to take a precautionary route, you can always email us first at glamourcloset@glamourcloset.com to see if the dress you would like to send in is something we could resell.

In the event that the dress you sent in does not pass inspection and cannot be sold at our boutique in San Francisco, we will contact you via the information you provided to us in the Seller's Agreement and return the dress back to you.
